The Role Reporting to a (Senior) Project Manager you will deliver a range of project types and work in high-performing construction teams! You will receive support and mentoring in this role from the Senior Project Manager right through to the senior business leaders. You will be supporting the PM and Site Manager across a variety of duties including:
- General construction admin and coordination
- Supporting the management of budgets, quality and safety standards
- Subcontractor liaison
- Planning & coordination with Site Manager
- Reviewing & Coordinating design and engineering documentation
- Leasing with clients, sub-contractors, architects, and engineers
The Builder This national builder operating in the Tier 3 space in Melbourne were established over 10 years ago and have in that time, built projects across the commercial and government projects, on new builds, fit-out and refurbishment works extending to nearly half a billion dollars.
Having been operating in Victoria for some years, they are looking to grow their coverage in the Victorian market, with new offices about to 'go live' in an inner Melbourne suburb.
Are you suitable? To be successful in this role you will have:
- Ideally have 2+ years of experience in the commercial construction sector in Melbourne, either for a Principal Contractor or Sub-contractor
- Well-presented, excellent written and verbal communication - clearly presenting as an individual with great long-term career potential
- Must be degree qualified, or as a minimum a Diploma in Building and Construction (or equivalent)
