The CompanyWell structured, busy and with a flat management structure, this established brand within the medium density townhouse building space can draw on the experience of two 'in-house' development businesses in addition to well established relationships with local developers, backed with local and international investment.
Delivering hundreds of new double and triple story townhouse builds on an annual basis, they have a long secure pipeline of work and looking to bolster their Sales Estimating function.
Due to ongoing growth, they require an experienced, high performing Sales/Tendering Estimator to join the Estimating team.
The Role
Reporting into the Estimating manager, you will be working with a team of 4, positive and outgoing Estimators. Likely, you will be stepping into a Team Leader role in 18-24 months and mentoring a Junior Estimator.
Given the growth within this employer, we are seeking a Senior level Sales Estimator, so you will already know the role well, duties will include:
- Pricing building projects based on initial early stage designs
- Preparation of tender documentation for submission
- Prepare and document accurate cost estimates for tenders, variations, and re-tenders
- Calculate fixed site costs and quantities, maintaining inventories for standard options
- Liaising with and managing enquiries from internal and external stakeholders such as Trades and Construction
- Accurate pricing of construction contracts and variations including appropriate margin considerations
- Interpret engineering plans to develop accurate site costs
About You
We are looking for someone who experienced, competent and works well in team, you will need 'hit the ground running'. You will need to be experienced within the residential townhouse building industry, and
- Have worked on townhouses for a good number of years, or
- If you are not experienced within townhouses, we will only consider high end home Estimation experienced, or very experienced volume home Sales Estimators, with double story pricing experience.
- You will need to be a 'go getter' with a positive attitude who enjoys interaction with colleagues
- You will be looking for a role to grow into and have the right experience and attitude to grow in the role and the role develops.
