This Quantity Surveyor has 18 months of experience working for a well-known national quantity surveying consultancy, overseeing 35 to 40 jobs at any given time within the townhouse, warehouse, medical, childcare centres, refurbishment, and retail spaces in Melbourne – up to $10M.
He has excellent communication skills, and well experienced in assessing variations cost plans with an architectural background, and is also experienced with design and understanding schematic design and putting bills of quantities together.
Having been in Melbourne for two years and having delivered such a volume of projects, up to around the $10 million level, this Quantity Surveyor is looking for an opportunity as a Contract Administrator to learn the ropes, develop his skill set, and slowly progress towards Project Manager over the next eight to ten years.
Well suited to a Tier 3 Commercial Builder, delivering a variety of projects in line with his existing project experience, but could also work within a townhouse and apartment building contractor or perhaps in the refurbishment or fit out space. Key skills include:
