An apartment that won’t be constructed for another five years has broken Melbourne property records, selling for $38 million to an international businessperson.

The full-floor apartment will be part of the STH BNK By Beulah development. Located somewhere above level 75, it will boast two kitchens, a spa or sauna and a private theatre within its 1,000 sqm footprint. It’s expected that the apartment will be heavily customised to suit the tastes of its new owner, who will use the apartment as their Melbourne outpost.

The development by Beulah International is being touted as “a visionary mini-metropolis.” Residents of the 100-storey structure will have access to a children’s centre, concierge services and a wealth of retail and dining options within its twisted biophilic façade.

Four Seasons is the hotel partner for the project, opening its first Melbourne location.
