Multiplex reaches practical completion of ANMF hotel – 5 weeks ahead of schedule

Multiplex is celebrating their progress on the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation’s (ANMF) hotel, achieving practical completion five weeks early.

Located opposite the Queen Victoria Market, and adjacent to the ANMF headquarters, the hotel sits behind the fully restored heritage façade of the Central Club Hotel.

At completion, the hotel will contain 29 rooms across eight levels. It will provide affordable, convenient accommodation for regional and rural members attending conferences and professional development in Melbourne.

Designed and constructed to the rigorous Passivhaus standard, the sustainable build also has a cross-laminated timber structure to reduce the level of embodied carbon in the building.

Multiplex is starting strong in 2023, with the construction of the new Footscray Hospital also reaching a milestone halfway point.
