This candidate is a Construction and Property Development professional with over 15 years of experience. Their career began as a Contract Administrator where they developed a strong acumen for construction programming, which led to Senior Project Management roles. After completing a Master’s Degree in Property he has added some technical knowledge to his skill set, with a view to step into a Development role, either as a Project Manager or Stright into Development Manager position. Their experience includes site identification, highest and best use analysis, complex feasibility modelling, design co-ordination, and tender assessment, interview and contractual engagements. They are certified in AEM and a Certified Practising Valuer, recognized by the Australian Property Institute.
Project Values range from $5M – $50M in value, and include commercial buildings, data centres, child care buildings, apartments, civil buildings and retail projects
Their current role includes responsibilities such as setting and managing project budgets, cashflow and programs for project analysis, primary contact for stakeholders, clients and consultants, monthly financial and commercial reporting, development of design briefs and managing appointment of design consultants, obtaining subdivision permits (town planning) and infrastructure delivery, liaising with a team of town planners to facilitate and encourage local planning change of use, developing feasibility analysis with the ability to critically explain and vary depending on benchmarking requirements, managing project strategy including investment and capital, researching and presenting market analysis, and identifying opportunities and risks.
With extensive experience in both Project Management and Development Management, this candidate offers a unique and desirable hybrid of skills that makes them adept at managing a head contractor through enforcing contractual deliverables and ensuring time, cost and quality is achieved throughout the building process.
