Building Environs and WIDAC partner for upcoming luncheon
We’re proud to announce that we have partnered with Women in Design and Construction to deliver their next premium luncheon event in Melbourne.
Titled ‘Closing the gender pay gap in 2022,’ the event will equip attendees with the skill set to feel prepared and empowered for their next salary review.
Speakers include:
- Althea Papinczak, WIDAC Director, on how employees can build the skills needed to negotiate with confidence and work towards better advocating for themselves and their entitlement to equal pay
- Stephanie Lam, Social Impact Lead at Work 180, on the steps that employers can take to actively help close the gender pay gap
- Our own Martin Preece, BER Director, on the importance of knowing your own self-worth and value in the current market.
Copies of our 2022 Salary Reports will be available to take home from the event. These guides provide real data collected from nearly 500 industry professionals, actively working in Melbourne’s built environment industries. So you can get an accurate benchmark for pay rates in your field before negotiating your next pay rise.
We look forward to meeting you and hearing your stories.
