Project Manager (Client-Side or Development)

This Project Manager has 10 years of postgraduate experience. Having initially undertaken a cadetship with a listed Australian builder/developer, he subsequently went to Europe to study before taking up a graduate role within a large international EPC contractor, and worked as a Project Engineer on a large-scale petrochemical and infrastructure related construction projects, the values running into billions of dollars.

Having worked overseas for five years, he returned back to Australia to pick up his career in the local market, whereupon he joined a boutique local developer, where he works as a Project Manager.

His current role, he represents the Developer as a Project Manager; working through planning, design development, contractor selection, and construction management.

His project experience within his current role sees him delivering multiple small-scale refurbishment and fit-out projects within existing building assets, in addition to delivering large-scale $50 million projects – apartments and commercial builds.

This candidate is well suited to either a Client-Side Project Management role or a role within a Developer as a Project Manager. He has exposure through the feasibility process, design, value management, contractor selection, financial management and cost reporting, and overseeing all construction works. Key skills include:
