The University of Melbourne has appointed Donald Cant Watts Corke as Program and Project Manager for the development of their new campus at Fisherman’s Bend.
The 7.2-hectare site will soon be home to a new world-class engineering and design campus. It will feature maker spaces, workshops, living laboratories and cafes — and will be home to the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology (FEIT) and the Faculty of Architecture, Building and Planning (ABP).
It’s hoped that the investment will enable industry, students, and researchers to work together to solve social and environmental issues. Space has been allocated for the industry to co-locate to the site to facilitate this collaboration.
Donald Cant Watts Corke has enjoyed many recent successes, including winning the project manager, superintendent, and quantity surveyor roles for the Melbourne Polytechnic redevelopment at Collingwood.
The University of Melbourne campus at Fisherman’s Bend is expected to open in 2026.
