Epping’s new Northern Private Hospital has hit structural completion and is on track to open in early 2024.

The facility, which will be run by Ramsay Health Care, is located adjacent to the existing public hospital in ‘new Epping’ – Riverlee’s new $2 billion mini city. Both hospitals will be connected via a link bridge.

With a project value of $133 million, the hospital will be further supported by a 7-hectare health, wellness and knowledge precinct that will provide allied health services and research facilities.

Riverlee Development Director David Lee espoused the importance of the project, saying, “We are proud to be partnering with Ramsay Health Care to deliver this important project, as part of the New Epping development”.

“The biggest reward will be seeing the positive impact that it will have on this growing region upon its completion – economically, environmentally, and socially.”

The first stage of the hospital will include 70 inpatient beds, 10 oncology chairs, four operating theatres and a cardiac catheterisation laboratory.
