ADCO, Kane constructions, and Hansen Yuncken have all thrown their hat into the construction ring in the hopes of becoming the chosen contractor for Hawthorn FC’s new headquarters at Dingley.
When finished, the new facility will include a community oval, pavilion, and a state-of-the-art training and administration facility. It will also become the home ground of Hawthorn’s AFLW team.
Funding for the project is coming from various stakeholders, including the Hawthorn Football Club (in excess of $30 million), the Federal Australian government ($15 million), Kingston City Council ($5 million), and the Victorian State Government. The club has signed an MOU with Kingston City Council which will act as a guiding document for community access and usage of the facility.
